The White Dragon posted:seriously though even if you're doing really basic low-level programming you need to understand math inside and out. you can't even program basic video game pathfinding without being able to write a modular trigonometric formula Like literally 99% of programming isnt this and doesn't require maths. Well other than stuff like Boolean algebra and bases other than 10 which is why they were both part of the New Math because omg sputnik Soviets are beating us in technology!
