Honestly, I’ve been rooting for Vegas all playoffs, but now that the impossible has happened and the Caps are actually in the finals, I’ll probably root for them. They’ve been a worthy competitor to the Rangers all these years and Ovie deserves a Cup. Go Caps

like, i'm cheering for vgk of course but i'm kinda quietly hoping that if we win it, we win it on a road game??? not because i wanna shame the caps or anything but the gridlock will be un loving real if we win the cup on a home game t-mobile arena is... not well-placed for this sort of popularity and traffic, it was bad enough in the regular season before the height of popularity

This playoffs doesn't make any sense so after years of hearing that the Caps would probably go to the finals or whatever if they could get past the Pens/slay their demons/whatever I think Vegas winning has to be the marginally crazier and thus more likely outcome
