Raw Results
- Elias opened the show with a song about his attack on Seth Rollins last week as well as a lament for the loss of his guitar. Rollins to come out to confront him, using a chair to counter Elias' guitar.
- Seth got the better of Elias but was jumped from behind by Jinder Mahal. He and Elias put the boots to Seth but then Roman Reigns showed up to help Seth. Kurt Angle prevented Elias and Jinder from escaping, telling them they would have to face Roman and Seth in a tag match.
- Elias and Jinder defeated Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Sunil Singh's distraction enabled Jinder to throw Roman into the steel steps as well as letting Elias score a DDT on Seth onto a chair before hitting his finisher and getting the pin.
- A delighted Curt Hawkins thought his 199 losing streak was finally going to end, and offered tacos to everybody in the crowd if he won. His opponent was a little hometown jobber called James Harden. Hawkins dominated until Baron Corbin showed up and attacked Harden to force Hawkins to lose by DQ and increase his record to 0-200.
- Hawkins was infuriated and attacked Corbin backstage, but got easily overpowered with a taco to the face and right through the table of tacos.
- Backstage, a smug Corbin explained to Kurt Angle that he had gone directly to Stephanie who had named him "Constable" of Raw as a way of having checks and balances on Kurt's "power".
- Nia Jax defeated Nattie in a singles match while Ronda Rousey was on commentary. Nattie was actually doing well against Nia but hurt her leg (I assume kayfabe) while on the offensive and Nia was able to take her out.
- Postmatch, Nia looked upset at seeing Nattie was hurt. Ronda came to the ring to check on Nattie and then helped her up the ramp. Nia was left standing in the ring looking upset. The heel/face dynamic here is really weird after Nia was so blatantly heel last week.
- Bobby Roode was interviewed backstage about being in his first MITB, and said he loved the spotlight so it would be glorious. He got more serious about the fact he had to face BRAUN tonight, and said his primary goal wasn't winning but surviving.
- BRAUN defeated Bobby Roode, despite Roode's attempts to avoid or escape him or set obstacles in his path. At one point Roode slid beneath a ladder set up across the ring apron and ring barricade to put it between him and BRAUN. BRAUN smashed the ladder in two with his hands and murdered Roode anyway.
- Kevin Owens was interviewed backstage and said he didn't care about his other MITB competitors, and thought Finn Balor in particular was a loser.
- Nattie was icing her knee backstage while Ronda offered her support. Nia showed up to apologize and she and Ronda began arguing, and Nattie told them she needed a minute to herself and headed out on crutches.
- The Deleters of Worlds came out for an in-ring interview declaring that whoever won the Tag Team Battle Royal to get a shot at them would simply end up being DELETED. This was way better than a lot of the stuff these guys usually get to do, and Bray and Matt have really good chemistry together.
- The Tag Team Battle Royal kicked off before the rules had even started to be announced (so they just went ahead and announced them over the fighting).
- Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre were eliminated first, because Ziggler got eliminated by Tyler Breeze. Dolph and Drew beat the poo poo out of everybody before leaving.
- Titus and Apollo were eliminated during the commercial break. Ascension and Breezango were both eliminated in short order soon after.
- The Revival were eliminated by Heath Slater and Rhyno, leaving only them and the B Team in the match.
- The B Team won the Battle Royal when Heath accidentally knocked Rhyno off the apron while preparing to hit a bodyslam. The B Team celebrated in delight, having finally earned their Raw Tag Team Title match at Money in the Bank.
- Bobby Lashley came to the ring to demand Sami Zayn face him like a man in the ring. Sami came out amongst the crowd for another segment that died, as he put up selected posts from Bobby's instagram page on the titantron and complained that when he (Sami) anonymously DMed Bobby he just got an instant link back to the Bobby Lashley VIP fanpage.
- Jinder Mahal and Sunil Singh were interviewed backstage, where Jinder insisted that Roman was jealous and bitter of Jinder's superiority.
- Midway through the interview they cut to an interview with Roman... then back, then back again. It was treated like a conversation or that they could see each other despite the fact there were no television screens near them as they were interviewed. It was... bizarre.
- Roman went looking for Jinder and found him, and the two fought until officials pulled them apart.
- Alexa Bliss was in a six woman tag, teaming (bizarrely) with Ember Moon and Sasha Banks against the Riott Squad, but she quickly walked out claiming a leg injury. Sasha was able to fight off the others long enough to go for a tag but Ember had been taken out, so Bayley rushed to the ring, got tagged in and got the pinfall despite not being in any way even remotely or slightly an official competitor.
- Backstage, Baron Corbin insisted that Angle tell Bayley, Sasha and Ember that the win didn't count. Angle seemed reluctant for no reasonable reason and eventually stormed off to do so, even though Corbin was completely, totally in the right.
- Backstage, Ember, Bayley and Sasha were celebrating and Ember pointed out their win was thanks to Bayley and she and Sasha needed to hug this out. Bayley and Sasha were about to when Kurt showed up and told them they had lost by DQ because Bayley wasn't official. Ember and Sasha both left, leaving Bayley alone.
- Baron Corbin was shown talking backstage to a referee.
- Big Show returned to present Team Texas for the Special Olympics USA Games taking place in Seattle in 2018. Big Show looked great.
- Finn Balor won the main event against Kevin Owens by DQ when Owens wouldn't stop beating on Balor in the corner. So you know, the worst ending in wrestling. Afterwards Owens hit a frogsplash on Balor.
- Owens set up a ladder in the middle of the ring, screamed at Balor's corpse to "watch!" and then climbed the ladder to get the briefcase before deciding to hit a frogsplash from the ladder. Except he kept going a little further down the ladder before trying to hit it, allowing Balor to recover and lay him out with a Slingblade.
- Balor climbed the ladder and then hit a Super Double Footstomp onto Owens before climbing the ladder and retrieving the briefcase to end the show.

Smackdown Results
- Carmella opened the show promising to expose the truth about Asuka. She showed a highlight video pumping up Asuka so the audience could see the Asuka they "thought" they knew, then another video showing her losing to Charlotte at Wrestlemania and then losing another match soon after that. Carmella claimed that now EVERYBODY was ready for Asuka.
- Asuka came to the ring, but before she and Carmella could confront each other, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville came out wanting a shot at Asuka. Mandy claimed she was only a second from beating Asuka next week and wanted to finish the job, but Sonya said Mandy had left just enough for Sonya to finish the job. Carmella tried to encourage Asuka to fight both at the same time.
- Paige came out and reminded everybody that SHE makes the matches, so Asuka just needed to choose an opponent and Paige would make it official. Asuka chose both, because she's hardcore.
- Asuka eventually defeated Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in a handicap match, submitting Sonya Deville. Carmella on commentary was momentarily taken aback but recovered and got into the ring to pose with the belt. Mandy tried to jump Asuka from behind but Asuka caught her and laid her out, only to get hit by Carmella with the belt from behind. Carmella posed with the belt over Asuka's prone body to end the segment.
- The New Day approached Miz backstage to apologize for being mean to him recently, and asked if he would like to help them "reveal their member" to the audience. After rephrasing, they explained they had put their names in a hat and whichever name Miz pulled out would be the New Day member who would be in the Money in the Bank ladder match. They blindfolded him, then replaced the hat with one with pancake mixture inside.
- Karl Anderson won with a surprise roll-up in a surprisingly quick match against Luke Harper, a preview of the tag match at MITB between the Good Brothers and the Bludgeon Brothers.
- Jimmy Uso and Naomi defeated Aiden English and Lana in a match to determine who the true best Husband and Wife on Smackdown were, despite Lana and English not being husband and wife. Naomi hit English with a top rope splash to prevent him scoring a shot on Jimmy, which allowed Jimmy to hit the Superkick and get the win.
- Paige, sitting at a table backstage, introduced the contract signing between Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles for their Last Man Standing match at Money in the Bank. Dean Malenko and Adam Pearce were present too. AJ made a strong statement that Shinsuke knew he couldn't beat him and that was why he played all these silly games. Shinsuke responded that his pen was out of ink, borrowed AJ's and then claimed it was broken. AJ lost his poo poo and slapped Shinsuke, and had to be escorted out. Shinsuke immediately took a pen out of his pocket and happily signed the contract.
- Becky Lynch defeated Charlotte Flair by submission, tapping her out with the Disarmer after a match that started with both being tentative before pulling out some of their big moves/counters. Postmatch, the two embraced.
- Samoa Joe did a backstage promo reminding everybody that he doesn't just talk a big game, with him what you see is what you get.
- Big Cass came out to do a promo all about how he's better and bigger than Daniel Bryan and Bryan has never fought somebody like him (he has and beat him!) and he's going to beat him before he can put in the Heel Hook and
- Sin Cara was interviewed backstage where he noted that he had known Andrade "Cien" Almas for years and considered him a brother, but "something" had changed. Zelena rushed out to say that what had changed was that she had brought out the best in Andrade and made him a winner. He had got her to ask Paige for a match between the two, and Andrade promptly jumped Sin Cara from behind and left him laying.
- The New Day defeated The Miz, Rusev and Samoa Joe. The heels actually had the (fun) match won until Miz decided to throw pancakes at BIG E but accidentally hit Rusev and Joe instead. They beat up Miz and walked out, leaving Miz alone to take a beating from New Day and get pinned.
- We still don't know which member of New Day will be in the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Remember years ago when Val Venis met with Eric Bischoff backstage and decided to become Chief Morley? That was awful and it's still probably the high watermark of where this Angle/Corbin storyline will go.
I just want him to join Breezango and hate every second of it.

Literally everything in that Raw was terrible except the in-ring of the 6-diva tag and Finn-KO. If Lashley-Sami doesn't win worst feud of the year it'll be a loving miracle.

WWE hates having two guys with the same name so Bobby Lashley and Bobby Roode still having their names is shocking to me.

Okay, I know this is a played out comparison, but this is LITERALLY something WCW did.
Remember when AoP and Sanity got called up
In theory, they pumped the brakes on them because the tag team MitB match got canceled and there's no place on the card for them now.
