Goku, grunting, needlessly complicated ammo systems, achievements everywhere, poor posture, poorer dialog, and nipple armor. Game of the year, every year.

This game just doesn't get DBZ. Spamming Ki Blasts is never supposed to work! Anyway, I was going to randomly vote for the Desert, but then I saw that'd just create a 4-way tie... so Desert it is!

Cove because I want to make this bad game as bad as possible by denying you upgrades.

Where do you keep finding this bargain bin nonsense? It's not like everything you've LP'd is schlock on this level but the sheer volume is still morbidly fascinating. Also my d4 says to go to the Cove.

God this game looks like absolute garbage. Also Selenic Martian, I am curious, what is your accent? You have a truly pleasant speaking and narration voice.

Mines, because upgrades.

Wow, this game is surprisingly poo poo. I haven't seen this bad a dialogue in a while. I vote for Cove.

I noticed that a trophy's title is "Zero Sum Escape", and I can't help but wonder if it was a reference to the Zero Escape series, what with the series' publisher - Aksys Games - also publishing this. This is probably the most noteworthy thing I saw because god drat this game looks aggressively bargain-bin-quality. Let's go with the Burial Grounds. Nothing interesting sounds interesting.

What I noticed immediately is how well objects blend with the background (mostly because it was many shades of brown). I would have had a much harder time spotting chests than SelenicMartian

Mines, I suppose. Also, wow, that woman's armor is ridiculous even by fantasy armor standards.

GamesAreSupernice posted:please stop playing all the bad games before me you're making me look bad Fortunately there's plenty of bad games out there. Heck, thanks to Valve's new "standards" there'll be plenty of new crappy games in easy reach. Though sadly I'm guessing finding the interestingly bad ones will be about as difficult as finding the actually good ones.

I think the biggest surprise about this game is that it's a PS3 game - you could've told me it was made with stock assets and sold for pennies on Steam and I totally would've believed it. That, and they somehow got some good voice talent for it: Ali Hillis and Liam O'Brien must've been seriously hard up for beer money when they recorded this.

Mines for all the gems. Wreck the Empire's economy, since we seem to be playing a Chaotic Evil asshat.

It should be "may-gus"! That's how it's pronounced! I'll even accept "mah-gus". This game's write is so... bland. Every question you ask is answered in the vaguest way with no actual information exchanged. "What do priests get in exchange for dying in a year?" - "They get powers." "What kind of powers?" - "It's unique to each priest. Now go suck rocks." Your commentary is somehow more acerbic than in Neverdead, somehow. ![]() Edit: Also Mines because gems. I'm confused. Didn't we just leave the prison that is located in a floating island that had both the gemstone mines and the mage tower?
|

Magus killed the guy before he was told how to get off the island, so he might still be on there.

He can jump off the cliff while spamming green ki blasts downwards to slow down his fall. Or he could if this was a better game, like say Cave Story.

There's something to be said for having a target, like bargain bin, and squarely hitting it. Can't wait to see where it goes next, or if it even goes anywhere at all. Votin' for the Burial Grounds.

The strange synchronicity of the idle animations during conversations makes it look like the characters are floating on ocean waves while talking to each other.
