New SPAs and the Command Module/Command Mech bonus both sound good. New SPAs might make it easier for the players to write conditional orders because there's less worry of an Ace breaking LOS after orders are declared.

Anticipating resistance to the large production runs of new medium mechs from the more hidebound members of the DCMS officer corps, the scientists and engineers at Luthien Armor Works looked to an old chassis as a test bed for the new armor, weapon, and heat sink development. The QKD-15K retains the jump jets of previous models, but has been upgraded with Angel ECM, a sword, and a head mounted flamer for point defense capabilites. A I believe the first combat theatre vote of the new thread had a choice to play through a similar encounter between Kerenskye and the League. Since we are getting a second chance, I would like to see what they are up to. Also I'm holding out hope that there will be an actual Demon Hawks vote eventually.
