I skimmed through the thread and didn't see anything but you guys had to have talked about this already right?

"Gary Payton says LeBron James Jr has committed to Sierra Canyon in Los Angeles. Scotty Pippen Jr & Kenyon Martin Jr also play there."

Has it already been proven completely fake or something?

EDIT: OK I guess it's BS.

This is going to be the fun time where countless upon countless grown men are going to be sniffing the air and literally digging through LeBron's garbage trying to find any shred that they can tweet or post to social media that can somehow tangentially prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that yes, LeBron bought a pair of shoes at a shop in Orlando so he's obviously signing with the Magic.

So he has to just get one of the MVP/DPoY/All NBA honors next season to be eligible? Sounds like a done deal, basically.

I'm probably projecting, but as someone who blamed everything good with the Raptors last year on Nurse and everything bad on Casey I'm pretty happy with the hire. We can speculate for the next 3 months about it but I'm pretty curious to see how he'll do. Anyways, if the Raptors didn't hire him my (totally anecdotal) hunch would be that he would have found a head coaching spot somewhere else within a year or two, dude seemed to be getting scouted very hard.

Also off topic but I grew up in Calgary and took it for granted that there was tons of good Vietnamese food. When I moved to Waterloo for university I was shocked by the lack of viet sub joints cause those things are bog standard student food in Calgary. Maybe it's the same kinda thing in Houston. Just kinda strange arbitrary oil towns that had a bunch of Vietnamese immigrants end up in a pocket there for some reason or another.

I used to think pho was something I'd only enjoy in the fall/cold of winter, but after having it in Oakland at Pho Ao Sen I will eat that amazing soup in 100* heat and be ecstatic.

I didn't notice until now, but they expanded the definition of BRI to include sports gambling profits in the last CBA. I wouldn't be surprised if the agreed cap increased to $120mil+ in the next two weeks.

So you unironically think that the salary cap is going to expand by about 15% because of an integrity fee that hasn't yet been added that, to the best of my knowledge, only applies to basketball wagers in a field in which the NBA (and others) have no true idea what the actual gambling pool is/will be, spread over a handful of states that haven't figured out when (in the next few years) they're going to actually implement sports betting?

Oh, and it's going to happen in two weeks?
