TechLinked is my fav channel now even tho it's only a few weeks old.

Bitwit is a decent channel. I became a fan of him when he did a video where he tested front mount radiator placement vs top mount, with data.

Jayztwocents rubs me the wrong way, I really dislike that guy. Dimitri from hardware canucks is cool.

Maybe. I like his videos "best cases of 2016" etc, they seem straightforward and unbiased.

Their mech keyboard review videos suck tho and the other guy on that channel does this whispery monotone that bores me to tears

From what I understand the license agreement gives them the permission to audit you, so if you don't comply with the audit then you are violating the software license and they sue

If a company argues the software license is invalid then they lose permission to use the software and end up committing copyright infringement anyway. I'm not a Microsoft apologist but they have this game wrapped up pretty tightly. Almost all companies will roll over and comply with the audit rather than go to court.

2) LTT has somehow gotten 100x more obnoxious

Linus has started huffing his own farts since he has the power to hire and fire people. He still has natural easy chemistry with Luke on camera but he gave Luke a sinecure with the floatplane job so now it’s Linus and an employee all the time and his inner douche is showing more and more.

The WAN show with Riley was just stilted and awkward with Linus talking over Riley constantly and saying he doesn’t understand tech anyway. Riley is very smart to stay part time IMO.

The entire thing on the latest scrapyard wars where Linus begged a computer recycler to let him pick something off the shelf and them telling him they’re not a retail shop was loving horrible. He went there in person after they hung up on him and then they escorted him from the building. This thread’s description of him as a screeching alien is never going to leave my brain, when I watch him fail at normal human behavior.

Reviewing as a Canadian:

The aliexpress is shown listed at $200 USD, looking it up myself shipping is 80-100 USD additional

That amazon link you put has 80 CAD for shipping. e: oh thats usd too

The aliexpress monitor seems to have warehouses in the states so maybe Linus is making the video for his american viewers?
