Nah, he's still at Obsidian (he's never worked at CDPR). Just released a new game.

If it's not a troll, they might be thinking of Comte de Saint-Germain, Obsidian guy that joined CDPR to work on Cyberpunk, but did some work on the Witcher DLC (and, for a dev, interacted a lot with goons).

Did he ever say what he did? Last I read TW3 thread was just after release and goons yelled at him enough to make him duck out for a bit.

I didn't follow that too closely because I haven't played the DLC, but he was a great contribution to the thread. Smart, cool guy.

They did the exact same thing with The Witcher 3's E3 reveal. The press got to see and gush about the gameplay weeks (if not months) before we did.

Sounds like there's a class of guns that automatically home in on targets (don't require aiming).

There's also a chip or whatever that displays bullet trajectories, allowing you to take out enemies by ricocheting bullets around corners.

You can run up walls (I guess with the right augmentations), and stick to walls by lodging your arm blades into them.

Longplay. Sometimes just playthough, though that depends on the uploader.

Any chance this will be guns only? I mean "only" as in it may have melee combat, but only in the form of Deus Ex HR?

No, there's regular melee combat. The mantis blades got the most attention.

Someone leaked audio from the whole demo, it's taken down now but I listened to it. Female V sort of sounds like Tiya Sircar (Sabine Wren on Star Wars Rebels) although it's hard to tell because the audio wasn't great quality. Also there was a Johnny Silverhand song.

I was thinking ME2's Jack/the female FO4 VA, but, yeah, hard to tell.

In terms of reactivity it looks like Witcher 3 level (you probably have a few different options in quests that will have significant narrative consequences) but not, say, at the level of the immersive sim. It doesn't look like you could, say, kill the corporate agent and get out of there alive, or deal with the gang in a completely stealthy or nonviolent way

wonder if you could pull the trigger in any of those moments you had your gun against someone's head
