ArfJason posted:for some reason i've always really liked silent hill 1's screen that appears whenever you load a savegame, its just harry mason running against a black background (and i think hes holding your currently equipped weapon) and he has an afterimage effect but idk timestampted it on video I love all the menus and loading screens in survival horror because it feels like a "break" from all the terrible stuff that is happening and it lets you feel safe for a moment. For me it has a calming effect.
