I'm hoping that an Aztec god is just temporarily piloting Jack Swagger's body around, so next season whatever Trump-rear end motherfucker thought all this was a good idea can gently caress off and the god can jump into Big Bad Steve or something. Of course there's a next season, why wouldn't there be a next season.

I'll always suspect that part of what happened was the difference between a production team made up of Trump stans in 2014 and the same crew in 2018. Other than a few jobber appearances by Cubanish Sammy Guevara, I don't think they added a single Latino character in Season 3 or 4. The show went from being passionate about Mexican and Mexican-American culture to Jack Swagger and Sami Callihan.
