Does anyone in here use colored pencils? I need advice on how to find the best quality ones for my mom, as she's unhappy with the current quality of prismacolors and wants better and I know nothing about these things.

I ultimately got my mom a Caran D'ache supracolor set, but added the note that if she doesn't like them I'll get her another set. I want her to be drawing things happily this year! Thank you all for the responses, I'll go through them if mom needs me too.
