Yep. Capturing cultists is only a way to bank power between turns, rather than generate any. The main benefit of course is denial and control of gates. It's also worth mentioning it that, if the King wasn't there, you wouldn't have been able to as the Abom would block your Undead. I tend to forget the King's a GOO as he's so skinny.

If this is all correct, then: Sleeper needs to decide where to put their Serpent Man back on the map.
