Since we've been talking about it in the N/V thread, I thought setting up the annual predictions thread might be a good idea NFC East 1. Philadelphia Eagles: 11-5 2. Dallas Cowboys: 10-6* 3. Detroit Lions Sep. 10 Jets WIN - Home opener, it's the Jets. Sep. 16 @49ers LOSE - Handsome Jimmy G is Real. Sep. 23 Patriots LOSE - Tom Brady Bullshit. Sep. 30 @Cowboys WIN - I think this will be a close game but I love my Lions! Oct. 7 Packers LOSE - What do I need to say? Oct. 21 @Dolphins WIN - I think they'll win regardless, the MOV depends on how Tannehill looks. Oct. 28 Seahawks WIN - Home game with a Seattle defense that looks to be a shell of what it used to be. Nov. 4 @Vikings LOSE - I belive the Vikings are gonna be very good next year. Nov. 11 @Bears LOSE - I don't think the Bears will be good next year but it's an away divisional game Nov. 18 Panthers WIN - Close-fought game, maybe an OT win? Nov. 22 Bears WIN - Not too worried about the Bears at home (famous last words). Dec. 2 Rams LOSE - The Rams terrify me. Dec. 9 @Cardinals WIN - Seems like a rebuilding year for the Cardinals. Dec. 16 @Bills WIN - Sorry Bills, your QB situation is a dumpster fire. Dec. 23 Vikings LOSE - Again, I really like the Vikings' odds of getting to the SB. Dec. 30 @Packers LOSE - lol. So overall, an 8-8, extremely average season. e: With a new coach it's always tough to predict this stuff. It seems like we shored up the line and running game so I'm hoping that'll help take some of the load off of Stafford/open things up a little bit. The defense still worries me but GobiasIndustries fucked around with this message at 03:51 on Jul 6, 2018 |

Heres some fun little predictions too. Make sure to properly credit me when they come true Marvin lewis will favor an established veteran over playing a promising youngster. Exhibit a this season will be good old michael johnson. Derek carr gets benched by week 12 Pat mahomes looks like deshaun watson last season thru week 6, then falls off hard midseason. Chiefs barely miss the playoffs. Calvin ridley is oroty Dallas completely falls apart. Garrett gets fired after week 7 going into the bye week Joe flacco is out of his job by week 3 maximum Playoff teams in each conference: NE PIT HOU LAC TEN DEN PHI NO MIN SF GB WSH

Here, let's talk about the Bills, but first, something to help you get into the head-space of the Buffalo Bills. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/camp-countdown-no-20-3-reasons-kelvin-benjamin-will-excel-in-2018 The Bills are hyping up Kelvin Benjamin. Kelvin Benjamin, if you recall, had a good rookie year four years ago, and has spent the three years since injured and/or fat. On the rare occasions which he wasn't either hurt or fat, he was bad(just marginally less so). Kelvin Benjamin would be a good player to take a flier on. The Bills tell us we should be hyped, because Kelvin Benjamin is our #1 receiver(by default). He wasn't even our leading receiver last year(some dude who joined the team after him was, at least outside of Shady and always-hurt Charles Clay). So, let's take a look at the schedule. @Baltimore Ravens vs. Los Angeles Chargers @Minnesota Vikings @Green Bay Packers vs. Tennessee Titans @Houston Texans @Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots vs. Chicago Bears @New York Jets Bye vs. Jacksonville Jaguars @Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets vs. Detroit Lions @New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins I bolded games that seem winnable. You'll notice there are 7 of them. It's possible the Bills could randomly poo poo-house a much better team, and more likely still that they'll poo poo the bed against, like, the Colts or get torched by Mitch Trubisky for no apparent reason. So I'm going to go with 6-10. They'll start out dire, but finish "strong", and the offense will be putrid, because there are no receivers or quarterbacks.

General thoughts: 7 of the top 10 teams going in are in the NFC, meaning that it's going to be loving ridiculous for any other team to claw their way into the playoffs, and they'll all be beating up on each other and lowering their wins. In the AFC, all the middle class teams have QB question marks, so I expect one of them to randomly have 10 wins, and the ones that gently caress it up to randomly have 4. AFC: E: Patriots 12-4 Dolphins 8-8 Jets 7-9 Bills 6-10 N: Steelers 11-5 Bengals 9-7 Ravens 7-9 Browns 5-11 S: Jaguars 12-4 Titans 10-6 Texans 6-10 Colts 4-12 W: Chargers 9-7 Chiefs 8-8 Broncos 6-10 Raiders 6-10 NFC E: Eagles 10-6 Washington 7-9 Giants 6-10 Cowboys 5-11 N: Vikings 11-5 Lions 9-7 Packers 9-7 Bears 7-9 S: Saints 10-6 Falcons 10-6 Panthers 10-6 Buccaneers 6-10 W: Rams 10-6 49ers 7-9 Cardinals 6-10 Seahawks 5-11 Playoffs: Wildcard 5 Titans @ 4 Chargers 6 Bengals @ 3 Steelers 6 Panthers @ 3 Saints 5 Falcons @ 4 Eagles Divisional Chargers @ 1 Jaguars Steelers @ 2 Patriots Falcons @ 1 Vikings Saints @ 2 Rams Championship: Patriots @ Jaguars Falcons @ Rams Superbowl: Who cares, that'd be hilarious.

Cleveland will lose in the first round. Contracts will be renewed. Cleveland will be a failure for the following 5 seasons.
