that reminds me of when I was talking to one of my students a couple of years ago about his capstone project he was investigating using tesla battery packs as grid-connected power storage. I asked him "why tesla packs specifically they're just bundles of standard cells" and his answer was essentially "but tesla" I didn't know some mad loving lads were actually doing that irl
