Isn't leasing the leaf batteries so that they could maintain ownership and swap batteries out? You lease the battery and when it starts to not hold charge you go and get another one?

Touchscreen only cars shouldn't be made. Distracted driving is dangerous enough, but having to look at the screen instead of hitting a button to change the radio station or turn the knob for volume is stupid.

"I think people should be nicer to each other," he said.
"And give… give more credit to others and don't assume they're mean until you know they're actually mean.
"It's easy to demonise people, you're usually wrong about it, people are nicer than you think."

It's pretty mean using a social media platform with shitloads of followers to repeatedly call a guy a pedophile without proof. Also to doxx Randi's and call their boss to complain about them not liking your product.

Well at least it's a properly ventilated working area. Good job Elon :bravo:

But seriously: I do not understand this. This does not make sense to me. Maybe they are illegally painting their cars somewhere they shouldn't. But out in the open? You can hardly accurately paint hobby projects that way. It would not only have been necessary for proper working, it would also have been absolutely trivial to just erect a plastic tent around the working zone. And is that area only used for red paint? I have a hard time believing this because you would have to intentionally sabotage your project in order to do this.

The red paint makes the painting go faster. A tent around the working isn't as disruptive as having nature itself participate in the painting process. So green!

With the rocket falling over thing how can it possibly only take a few weeks to repair? Something that size you're spending a week figuring out how to lift the drat thing up, then at least a few weeks depending on size to analyse all the welds, all the pieces, all the interior etc before you can even start any repairs.
