People can age gracefully. One of my college friends has a massive crush on a professor who looked very good for her age, but didn't try to hide her age. I.e: she didn't cover the grey in her hair or the wrinkles in her skin, and she really was attractive for a woman in her fifties. My own father is in his sixties, has never dyed his hair or gotten botox, and I get to endure the occasional uncomfortable comment from older women that "he's hot." Similarly, my mother got some plastic surgery over the years and it ultimately didn't do her any favors. So I super stand by my statement, and that you're defending the decision to gently caress up your face even worse than just leaving it alone while you just get old.

quote:

In a lawsuit filed in Delaware Chancery Court on Thursday, Schnatter's lawyers say he is seeking to inspect company documents "because of the unexplained and heavy-handed way in which the company has treated him since the publication of a story that falsely accused him of using a racial slur."

Papa John's denied Schnatter's claims in a statement. The company said it was "saddened and disappointed" by the lawsuit, which it called "needless and wasteful."

Schnatter has admitted he said the N-word on a conference call with a marketing firm. Schnatter claimed the firm asked if he was racist, and he used the N-word in describing how KFC's Colonel Sanders used to talk. Schnatter has since said he also told the firm that he himself wouldn't ever use that word.

Hey, look. Look, if- if you screw me on this, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine, you rat bastard!
So the argument is, "I'm only repeating what I heard."

Sort of like when in school they made the class take turns reading Huck Finn aloud and you'd get to a slur and you were like, "So, am I sayin' this or what? Am I getting points deducted for not saying it, do I get a suspension if I do? I need some clarification here because I'm teetering on dropping out of school in both directions."

It really depends on how far away you are and how much gas is.
3 bucks would be decent in my neck of the woods as long as you were <10 mins away before factoring in the weather.

The N-word is basically a curse word at this point. That’s a big reason why a lot of people want to say it. Regular swear words like “gently caress” and “poo poo” don’t have as much taboo power as they used to, so people are using hate slurs because they’re fresher and have more punch. That’s why you hear video game nerds saying them on XBox Live so much.

$3 is considered “acceptable”. Not great, but okay. Remember they’re getting paid $4.25/hour when they’re out on deliveries and pay for 95% of their gas out of their own pockets.

$5 is “pretty good”, higher than that is “great”.
