Something that gave me a laugh near the end was the brief aside as Cassius complains about having to pee before Steve shows his equisapien proposal. It felt like a little joke about people walking out of the theater at critical moments in a movie and missing something important, which in this case wound up leading the plot down a seriously weirder path.
