Someone commented on the video with a list of deleted scenes that the public hasn't seen yet and drat... I thought I knew what was missing but there were some there that I didn't even realize were filmed. There's a ton missing from GB2... maybe someday... Anyone get the plasma series neutrona wand? I am absolutely in love with it. Has all the bells and whistles. Even the different modes from the video game, and a overheat sequence if you hold the stream down too long.

In the GBS thread we were talking about the original music video for Ray Park Jr's song and I was wondering why they had all those random celebrity cameos so I googled it: Parker suggested that they use celebrity cameos because he was worried about how the video was going to turn out so Ivan Reitman and a cameraman pretty much ran around Hollywood sneaking into film shoots to call in favours and get whatever celebrities they could find to yell "Ghostbusters!" for them. The article says that John Candy was filming Brewster's Millions at the time and they got him between takes and sure enough, he was still wearing the clothes from this scene:

Had a weird dream about the new movie the other night. All I remember is that it started with a big set-piece of the original Ghostbusters set sometime in the 90's (using the actors with de-aging FX) fighting like a big boss ghost and when they defeat this ghost, it stops all ghost activity around the world so they essentially put themselves out of business. Also Egon dies during this battle. I remember thinking that the de-aging FX looked really good. Then somehow I was in a mall and I ran into Rick Moranis and I wanted to get a picture with him, but he wasn't wearing a mask so I was kind of pissed at him and didn't want to get near him well thats my story thanks for reading

Actually reminds me that the opening premise of Extreme Ghostbusters (a show way better than it sounds, it's by the Men In Black cartoon people) was that they'd disbanded because they'd simply run out of malevolent ghosts to bust, until some tunnel project opens some ancient evil full of ghost stuff.
