I found it really funny how these Ouroboros folks - who are supposed hardened killers - are totally shocked for some reason when Alisa's dad blows up the ship with Olivier/Victor/Toval on it. Like people actually dying during this huge conflict with millions of lives at stake was some super surprising thing. I want to have faith that the hilariously non-lethal/non-violent nature of all the conflicts until the ending of CS3 (you get the impression that none of the people during any of the fights ever actually planned on killing anyone else) was meant to make the player lower their guard for the death-spree at the end of the game (which is meant to indicate "things are serious now" I guess). Because that would actually be pretty neat. But yeah, I'm not exactly expecting things to stick. I still think Victor at least will stay dead, since he's An Old.

Man, this game is gonna be pretty wild. Going to be hard to make myself wait until someone in Japan writes up a guide (I'm not the type of person to ever play RPGs like this twice, so I want to wait until someone writes up how to not miss any quests/books/etc). edit: I'm honestly confused to how they're going to fit so much stuff. I believe Falcom said something along the lines that the main scenario would actually be a bit shorter than Sen3's, but that the game itself would take longer to play (presumably due to dungeons and what have you). My very strong hunch is that they're referring to (speculation that I consider pretty likely) Olivier being alive, likely because he's the final divine knight or something. Which is something I really don't want to happen, but it seems very likely. As an unrelated thing (that I'm just mentioning here since I think the other thread wants to avoid any mention of Trails games not yet published in the US), it was just revealed in Ao that apparently, as of Ao Ch2, the members of the SSS are mostly weaker than random bracers (since all of them combined just barely manage to beat two of Crossbell's bracers in a subquest, and that's assuming you win, which is optional). I guess Estelle/Joshua were really carrying that fight against transformed Joachim at the end of Zero (who was stated to be stronger than Auriole-transformed Weissman, which always felt kinda goofy). edit: I really wish I had waited to play Ao before Sen3, because this is giving a lot of context to Sherry/Randy (Randy is great btw and I really like how heavily he was featured in Sen3; he basically became a character with Towa's level of presence in the cast). Wonder if the manga is the beginning of the game like last time. Speaking of which, here's today's stream. They play the TGS demo which, unlike the one they had for 3, is just a couple of sandboxes with enemies in them and a boss once 10 minutes are up.
