The official lines are - They need the extra peace keeping force there due to local terrorist threats - They are part of Chinese, like how there are 56 different kind of ethnicity within Chinese - If you want to support them so much, why dont you try giving your own native (US/AU/Canada) land back to the natives who were there before you??

It was my understanding that using triple quotes on the internet in 2018 meant that you were signifying that a word was a euphemism. I'm not accusing the so-called (here, is this better?) moderate rebels of being Jews. I know they're Islamists.

I read 'The Heroic Return of the Green Turtle' comic in the library the other day while waiting for my cousins to finish some stuff. It was good. I liked the mom character pushing her son into becoming a superhero despite having no powers. The best parts of Mom character was her shoving her son into puddles of radioactive materials and introducing him to dangerous diseases in order to make him a superhero. I like that the revival comic did something with the Mysterious Turtle Shadow, and laughed when it turns out the father made a deal with Turtle Shadow to stop drinking. The reverse Shanghai-ing was a cool, realistic way to get the main character's family to America. You should give it a go if you like very short comic book stuff and need to kill like a half hour or so.

I mean it really comes down to the fact that you can't justify acts of genocide. I don't doubt the information we're able to get is warped, and I also don't doubt some of the warping is to make up or exaggerate government abuses because that's how propaganda works. I just think it's foolish to act like the government being the government gives it the right to do whatever to citizens. How legitimate a government is actually has nothing to do with how morally or ethically sound a particular action is. EDIT: If the thing you're worried about is that people rushing to arm Uighur rebels are going to accidentally end up supporting extremist terrorism targeting innocent people out of simplified naivete, just say that. But members of an ethnic group committing extremist terrorism doesn't justify harsh mistreatment of the group as a whole. PetraCore fucked around with this message at 04:02 on Jul 29, 2018 |

That being said I wouldn't be surprised if whatever organization is actually committing terrorist acts is able to use this to leech funds off of people who are trying to help the group as a whole, because I'm pretty sure that's happened with other terrorist groups. It's good to do research before picking out how to help.
