The type of hit Rodgers took should be taken out of the game. He no longer had the ball, and Barr needlessly landed on him with all of his weight. I know it's a touchy subject, but the game needs to move away from the "play through the whistle" mentality where guys hit guys because they're narrowly allowed to in the rules rather than actually making a play. I don't think the Packers are going to suffer a huge amount by having let Jordy go. They've got way too many young receivers that they need to develop. Rodgers made James Jones the TD leader in a year he was a castoff nobody.
