I mean, I could try to design and machine my own, but it seems like one of those things I don't mind buying, because otherwise its a pain in the dick.

I vaguely remember a thread Baconroll did a while back. It's evidently the only way to get a smokeless powder handgun in the UK, by making it a muzzleloader. I believe he said that the cylinder is specially made in the UK and mated to a virgin frame there. I doubt you can easily find one here.

On the topic of "loopholes," an AR with pistol brace and length over 26.5" is classified as a firearm rather than pistol and as such can have a vertical foregrip, correct? And can be measured with the brace fully extended?
