The worst thing about being a college hockey fan in California (other than being a college hockey fan) is there’s no one with whom to talk about college hockey. The best thing is there’s no one with whom to talk about college hockey, so I just finished watching the Friday and Saturday games back to back without knowing how they end. The refs really should have kept their arms down in both games but there is some stuff you can’t let go. Nick Wolff has now been ejected in three consecutive UND-Duluth games, is he always a shithead or does he just hate UND?

Notre Dame hate is by no means extraordinary in NCAA Hockey. Rivalry is central to fandom. My two favorite teams are North Dakota and whoever's playing Minnesota.
