If avenetti runs in the primary it'll come down between him and Bernie if Bernie decides to go all the way. I would make a vague statement about maintaining border security while saying I oppose trump's policies. After they have elected me, I would abolish ICE, but do so as part of a package of DHS reforms that is advertised as making the borders more secure, so they don't turn against me even then

The younger candidate seems competent and full of potential while the older one has a proven track record of being a decrepit trainwreck. The younger one is crafty and likable, and wins the vote, but what happens after the election can't really be be foreseen beforehand, and it's probably not what tje voters expected.
