this was the doctor's claim, that he had suffered monetary damages as a result of punk and cabana's discussion on the podcast. amman's lawsuit would seek damages from the pair by making the case that they clearly and obviously caused him actual monetary harm by making false statements. all punk and cabana had to do was either show that the statements made on the podcast may have been true or that the only people who listen to podcasts with two wrestlers talking about wrestling are wrestling nerds so who gives a poo poo. had punk and cabana failed to do this, they would likely be liable for damages based on the amount of monetary damage suffered by amman.

this was an unwinnable case for amman and it was done to make punk and cabana miserable. so yeah, wwe won.
