looking at WI, the dem gov candidates have 426,759 votes with 70% reporting and the Rs have 350,579 votes with 71% reporting. that bodes well, no? or should it be assumed that a lot of voters who will go for walker in the general just skipped the primary?

Yeah I worried about this a bunch earlier tonight but 427 to 350 is a strong margin. Obviously primary does not translate to general but in a state that's sitting on the razor's edge like Wisconsin it does a lot to reassure my state of mind

I think the bankruptcy was related to his cancer, or maybe some of his other medical poo poo for injuries he suffered serving in Iraq, but I can't remember.

This is in conjunction with the GOP being in control in Congress such that there was an impetus to compromise with them in over to overcome any potential united Dem opposition. If they were in the minority, then there's largely no need as they'd either also oppose on principle or not have enough to stop it anyways.
