The outrage is coming from those who see this as injecting new skill points in to the game. Previously skill points had to be trained/farmed, they weren't merely spawned into the game like these injectors are doing. 40 bucks is a ridiculous price for what it gives. CCP are pretty much rinsing rich newbies.

I think I may leave this game after re-subbing for a month. I use to play hardcore when we were in GoonFleet fighting BOB and then the entire game but I just don't get any enjoyment from the game anymore. Everything seems to be a grind, I just don't have time to make decent amount of ISK or play for hours in the hope for a fleet fight. I dislike the pay to win element that CCP have brought in. Yeah I know that paying to win the game doesn't give you skill but it removes the feeling of achievement when you earn something.

One of the reasons I can't be bothered with the game is because I logged back into my tengu in dekelein after years of being away. Traveled 40 jumps to high sec then just got insta-killed by Trig. This happened within 2 hours of be coming back to the game. I know eve is hardcore mode for games but gently caress I am too old to be wasting my time playing like this.

The biggest and only noteworthy improvement of EVE Online in the last 10 years is that massive fleet battles are actually playable. The amount of times during 2006-2012 that a fleet of 200 jumped into a gate camp of another 200 which resulted in the server crashing was too drat high.

CCP have made it impossible to be neutral in the Trig invasion. EDENCOM will now shoot you if you have negative standings to them.

I can't see the Trig invasion boosting log in numbers. It adds even more annoying content which is more likely to get people to quit. There are constant posts on reddit with people rejoining the game and getting insta killed in a trig system with their stuff.
