I wish I saw that site before pouring tons of upgrades into a battleship weapon just because it was gold.

The honeymoon is over with this game though I still play it consistently.

The community is so bad it makes me second guess playing this sometimes, though.

My Monarch has more or less the same stats as my King George V (less AA/Luck for a bit more Reload), but with 10% more efficiency on all of her weapons. Plus her barrage is dope and she can use a non-poo poo gun.

Neptune is basically what happens when you smash Belfast and Edinburgh together (35% more AP gun damage with solid HP and Torp stat), but with Phoenix's self-heal instead of Belfast's super smoke. It's a real shame that she got pre-loaded torps instead of MGM +1 though..
Yay, only a million more xp until I unlock mine.

To be fair, a lot of folks will choose only two ships for PVP because there's no real reward for placing at the end of the season, so they try to make it easier for folks to get their exercise points.

Yeah Centaur is apparently as good as Enterprise despite being a light carrier with 2 fighter/1 torp slots. Her red skill drops 12 torpedoes that are almost as good as Barracuda torpedoes and slow down hit ships, and her yellow skill buffs Aviation and Firepower for carriers/BBs. She has more HP, Evasion and Reload than Enterprise, and only 8 points less Aviation, though Centaur's AA and Luck stats are somewhat lower.

"so this is the power, of the jet age"
I don't know what to do anymore, I guess. And I suppose it's a good thing. I've been running Queen Elizabeth, Hood, and Illustrious pretty much since I started playing (all three dropped relatively quickly) with Belfast, Leandry (sometimes Eldridge), and Sirius with few exceptions. But Centaur being that good means I'll probably want to develop two RN fleets-one focused on air power, and the other on the shoulders of backrow barrages.

Illustrious can be useful for Team 2 if your vanguard is typically taking a beating. She shields them every time she launches aircraft. My royal fleet often fits Eldridge in for the same reason, even though she's from :patriot:

I keep one of each common ship and max limit break them, but beyond that use them to enhance ships.

Use *only* common ships for upgrading; anything higher should be retired instead.

It will be hard for me to switch from Queen Elizabeth for a while, since she's often MVP. At least with all the carriers I can soon focus on two RN fleets, though picking out the vanguards will be tricky.

I heard otherwise-that these same blueprints will unlock a bigger grind for said ship later on

Fate Simulation (called "Integrity Reinforcement" in the JP server), is a way to improve PR ships that have reached development level 30 with extra Strengthening Units. There are 5 phases, each requiring an increasing amount of Strengthening Units to reach the next phase. PR ships initially have 0 luck, but going through these phases allows a PR ship to obtain a total of 15 luck. In addition, when a ship reaches Phase 5, one of the ship's skills is improved.

Neptune gets MKV-Class AP Shell: AP damage dealt is increased by an additional 5%.

Trying to actually tank the damage hasn't done me any good, but evasion-tanking gets Neptune through more than half the time.

You could try Belfast's smoke screen, Eldridge's super evasion or other skills to help out. My backline carriers mitigated a bit of damage, but don't worry too much about your main fleets survivability compared to the vanguard
