I think some people here are missing this, but spouting racial epithets is a common feature of how schizophrenia presents, for some reason. If you see a homeless person on the streets with schizophrenia, hearing them shouting slurs is not at all uncommon - and often times, if you asked them you'd find they're not even racist.
