Don't most people charge their phones at night on the bedside table while they sleep? A giant light up charging pad is not really ideal for that.

Wireless charging also completely sucks/doesn't work if you have any kind of case on your phone. Also I'd love to have a charger the size of a loving dinner plate taking up half my desk.

You can make a light up Qi Charger (most have one LED at best), but this one isn't real. You would need a giant round LCD screen or thousands of LED segments to animate it like this. VVV Think simpler. It's CG, like everything else A projector wouldn't work well on black plastic and the phone is covering a few of the lines. The shadow of the phone isn't affected either. I was in Germany a few years back and watching those women work is hypnotizing. Like, 6L of beer in heavy steins, per hand, with no issues. There's apparently a drinking game there too where everyone toasts, then holds the beer at arm's length as long as possible. First person to put the stein down pays for the round. That or I got scammed out of a couple rounds by the locals, but whatever. Beer!
