The difference between Gills and Ajayi is Ajayi is a better player and has more of an established role. What I saw tonight was a lot of satellite backing early on. If the intent was to tire out and spread out the defense, it seems to have worked. Sproles can’t carry the load and i don’t think Clement will either, so using Ajayi to grind out late game runs so far seems like a reasonable narrative.
