 Welcome to the Pokemon Village!  Once known to be a peaceful place, conflict has flared up as the elders of the village have mysteriously disappeared. Sensing their opportunity, an evil force starts to make their move! Basic information Days will be 48-72 hours in length. Nights will be 24 hours. These are flexible based on when I want to be up and doing things. This is a role madness game is for 17 people. We’ll be using Discord and SA PM's to manage everything, so please make sure you have access to those for the game. Alignment changes are not part of this game.  Special Mechanic: Evolution! Each day, players can vote one player to evolve into a more powerful pokemon. The new form will come with upgraded or additional powers. Not all pokemon will be able to evolve - this will be clearly stated in your role PM if you cannot. General Mafia Rules (That have been stolen from Natural 20 who stole them from Somberero) 1. Don't be poo poo to each other. This is a game, part of the game is having people react, but if you think you’re reacting badly, walk away, calm down, come back later. 2. If you post fewer than ten times across a game day that comes within 12 hours of finishing, I will grant a free vig to be used by the player that posts the most, targeted at you. This goes through any and all protection. 3. Don't edit your posts. 4. Don't talk after you're dead. I'll send you a PM to an Obs doc if you want to chat poo poo. 5. Feel free to post after the hammer/during twilight about non-game stuff. 6. Flavour is flavour, you’re welcome to pursue arguments on it if you want. However, scum are backed by elaborate fakeclaims. Additionally whilst I try to retain flavour justification for many abilities, they will not always match expectations. 7. No replacements after D2. 8. Don't directly quote any communication from me, including your role pm. If you have OOT communication with another player, the rule still applies. 9. Don't fake day actions. 10. If you are affected by a Day Action, do not post under any circumstances until we post the result of the Action. Everyone else is good to keep going. A note about result language 1. A result that successfully targets will yield the result. "You successfully x your target" 2. A result that does not successfully target will yield the result. "Your action fails." 3. If a player name is ever mentioned as part of a result, this is a mod error. 4. A "successful" target is defined as an ability resolving on someone. This does not have to be the intended target, so a redirected result will yield the same language as a result that has not been redirected. Signups:

Safeclaim: Makuhita (Town-Aligned Bodyguard) By using Wide Guard, you can protect a player from an attack. --- Ghastly (Scum-Aligned Poisoner) You are a ghost pokemon with a poisonous body and you can poison people and pokemon by enveloping them. At night, you can poison a player. They will be notified of this. A poisoned player will die at the end of the next night unless cured. When you evolve, your poisoning will take another form and be harder to cure. Your goal is to be uncontestably in control of the vote. Safeclaim: Ralts (Town-Aligned Cop) Ralts can sense hostility in people and pokemon. --- Ditto (Scum-Aligned Imposter) You are an amorphous pink blob and you have the unique ability to transform into any pokemon of your choice. At night, you can target a player to turn into a copy of them. You will turn into a complete copy of them, and will investigate as them for any intents and purposes. After you successfully transform into someone, you will know who they and their powers are, and use their powers. You can still perform the factional night kill. You cannot be spotted by watcher type powers – it will always show the person you copied, if applicable. You cannot evolve. Your goal is to be uncontestably in control of the vote. Safeclaim: Ditto (Town-Aligned Universal Backup) By using Transform, you can copy a player of your choice. --- Voltorb (Scum-Aligned Roleblocker) You are a pokemon that looks like a pokeball, and likes to explode. At night, you can block a player’s door with the threat of exploding, stopping them from doing anything that night. Your goal is to be uncontestably in control of the vote. Safeclaim: Voltorb (Town-Aligned Bomb) Voltorbs like to explode. --- Munchlax (Town-Aligned 1-Shot Bulletproof) You are a rather gluttonous pokemon. You are so fat that it’s impossible to finish you off in one blow, giving you the ability to live any one hit, regardless of when it happens. Your goal is to get rid of all evildoers. --- Pancham (Town-Aligned 1-Shot Vigilante) You are a small panda-like pokemon trying to look cool. At night, you can show off your surprising skills, and kill a player by using Karate Chop. Your goal is to get rid of all evildoers. --- Togepi (Town-Aligned Gambler) You are a small egg-shaped pokemon with a happy disposition. Each day, you can use ##Metronome once to use a random power. This can be any power present in the game, and some that are not, and it will ignore day or night modifiers (i.e. night abilities can be used during the day). You will get to pick the power’s target. Your goal is to get rid of all evildoers. Evolution: You now have the ability to use Metronome at night! It handles like an ordinary night action would. --- Flabébé (Town-Aligned Poison Doctor) You are a small fairy-type pokemon holding onto a flower. At night, you can cure a player of poison with Aromatherapy. This will not protect them from anything else. You can only cure weak poisons – to cure stronger poisonings, you need to evolve. Your goal is to get rid of all evildoers. --- Happiny (Town-Aligned Doctor) You are a pink, egg-shaped pokemon whose evolution line is known for caring for others. At night, you can use Heal Pulse on a player, healing them should they be attacked. You cannot target yourself with this ability. Upon evolution, you will be able to cure weak poisons. Your goal is to get rid of all evildoers. --- Cutiefly (Town-Aligned Saboteur) You are tiny fly-like pokemon. At night, you can use the move Powder on a player. Should the player you use this power on try to kill someone, the powder will ignite, and they will kill themselves instead. Your goal is to get rid of all evildoers. --- Lillipup (Town-Aligned Tracker) You are a small dog pokemon with a good nose. At night, you can track a player to find out who they visit by using Odor Sleuth. Your goal is to get rid of all evildoers. --- Patrat (Town-Aligned Watcher) You are small chipmunk-like pokemon which is very watchful of its surroundings. At night, you can watch a player to find out who visits them with the move Foresight. You cannot target yourself with this ability. Your goal is to get rid of all evildoers. --- Sudowoodo (Town-Aligned Hider) You are a rock-type pokemon that looks like a tree. At night, you can hide yourself by blending into a forest, pretending to be a tree. This ability cannot be used twice in a row. You cannot evolve. Your goal is to get rid of all evildoers. --- Gulpin (Town-Aligned Jailor) You are a blob-like pokemon known to swallow huge objects. At night, you can use the move Swallow to swallow a player whole, jailing them. While jailed, they are protected from any and all moves, but can’t perform any actions. If you jail someone twice in a row, your stomach acids will dissolve them, killing them, but also janitoring them. Your goal is to get rid of all evildoers. --- Mew (Town-aligned JOAT) You are rumored to be the ancestor of all pokemon. You can use almost any move. Jailing has a higher priority than redirects (using Natural Action Resultion order), and the kill is tied to the jail, so it kills before your sabotage can affect AS. You would not have killed AA either.
