I believe this was the first week in forever where I specifically said "eh, I'll just catch the recap on the weekly thread" and didn't even make a token effort to DVR the show. It was Spider-Man and the season finale to Castle Rock for the entire evening. I had the DVR remote right next to me and couldn't be buggered to spend 20 seconds setting it up to record.

I have some questions about the upcoming Mixed Match Challenge: 1) How far away is it? 2) Will they be playing for the same charities? I wanna see Asuka and Miz pet more puppies! 3) Will they be bringing back teh Alexa and Braun love story? Coz that was cute and fun, and I don't remember it ever getting a finale. 4) Given that it is round robin, how long will it take? Like will we have one MMC match per RAW, so it is interminably dragged out and all the fun is stripped from it? Or will they cram it into the pre-show of a third tier PPV? 5)Leading a bit back to Q2, but will any of the storylines, or character moment from it be allowed to bleed into main roster stuff? Also, I have a bullshit fantasy booking esque idea about what they can do with it. If WWE don't want to use Asuka properly and giver her back the title, heres something they can do which capitalizes on her chemistry with Miz. Have a story where Maryse gets jealous, (this can even play into their TV series which WWE loves to plug), so Maryse gets to act bitchy, which she is good at. Asuka can go, "I don't want your lovely arse husband", to which Miz can get all huffy and offended, which he is good at. It would lead to Maryse getting angry and picking a fight with Asuka, a fight where Asuka gets to kick her loving head off, which she is good at doing. This also plays into generic WWE Womans storyline #6 'Bitches be cray cray'.

I posted about it here at the time but WWE was happy they "caught" Paige. Bad analogy but it is kinda like an employer finding out an employee was stealing from the workplace via CCTV. WWE believes Paige would have continued to wrestle and hide her injuries until she actually paralysed herself. I assume given how things worked out for her since Paige is glad they caught her too. She was probably in the headspace at the time that her life would be essentially over if she couldn't wrestle anymore.
