I just picked up UDG on sale on PSN after I finally got the platinum in DR2, and I really liked the story. The game play was less stellar to me, but it was at least somewhat entertaining. I'll stick along for the ride and inevitable discussion. As for the difficulty I read that all it does is increase the HP of enemies, lower chances of drops and increase in currency gained. It's not that much of a difficulty spike so really you should play on hardest if for no other reason than to have less grinding to get all the money you need to unlock random things.
