It's so tough recommending this show to people because if you just tell them it's Kristen Bell going to heaven it doesn't really sell it. But if you say it's a comedic better written Lost you blow it for them. I like Kristen Bell and Ted Danson but didn't watch the show just because the premise seemed like a lame network comedy. It took hearing about the twist at the end of the first season to get me to watch, but I don't want to spoil that for others. Even just hearing there is a twist kinda spoils it because then you're looking for it.

I agree with all of this. I didn’t watch it because on the face of it it sounds dumb. It’s absolutely not though and I’m so glad I picked it up. I also agree about the twist I definitely didn’t see it coming and it was a great surprise when it did.

It’s lost but it doesn’t suck and it’s funny and heartwarming.

I like probably 99% of the viewing audience didn’t really give it a second thought beyond “huh guess the bad place really is loving with things!”.

Does anyone know a good place (ha) to watch the first few episodes of Season 3? Hulu doesn't have them all and the wife and I are hooked.

Somehow we've managed to watch with a newborn.

Yeah you have to use the nbc app or :filez: the first 2.

I wonder if it was a mistake or a prank. Either way this is amazing.

No way it wasn’t a prank and it’s amazing.

Sometimes people will ask questions of other people instead of Google because they're interested in hearing other people talk about the subject. That's how you get weird derails like a hundred one-line posts covering Adam Scott's career.

Also lol at the Star Trek appearance. I've seen the movie a few times and never realized it.

Since Scott's not even part of DS9, I'm just going to pretend Ben Wyatt won a contest for a bit part in a Star Trek film.

This really would be the best.

Sad but good.

A tight 4 seasons is great.

I really like AP bio but it’s really not even the same level as the good place.

Americans complaining they can’t watch something without piracy is really precious to me let me savour this

While this definitely isn’t true anymore with all of the streaming services I just wish they weren’t so fractured.

It can be incredibly frustrating trying to find a service that has a show you want only to find it doesn’t have 2 others you want as well.

It’s getting better for sure but sometimes downloading the poo poo is just easier.
