It's definitely about why you do things, not what those actions resulted in.

I really hope Simone is not a Good Place agent, but yeah definitely possible. Also, I did hear right that Simone said maybe the reason Eleanor had a tantrum was evolution or "Maybe you're just a dick" right? Was kind of surprised that got through Standards and Practices if that as the case. Or maybe it's one of those "It was said with an accent so we let it slide" like what Arrested Development did.

I'm wondering if Pillboi and Jason are actual brothers, since Pillboi and Donkey Doug apparently hang out a lot as well. Jacksonville was all around amazing and I'd love a Randy "Macho Man" Savage airport t-shirt. The planes swooping in and an outline of a wrestler swooping in with an elbow drop ruled. A big thing I like is that because they are all doomed, they aren't focusing on being better people. They are just focusing on saving people. So Eleanor will continue to be a garbage person in a lot of regards, and I find that a lot more entertaining/interesting than everyone attempting to be goody-two-shoes about everything.

But, someone else said upthread, part of the point of all this is to question how the system works because it really is bullshit.

Important to know that no place on earth is untainted by capitalism. Even when you go to deserted islands in the middle of nowhere you find trash washed up on shore. Used a plastic bottle to hold water? You played into the system that undercuts everyone's chances. Hell, the North Sentinelese were dumped into the iron age when a big ship crashed on shore and they've apparently been taking it apart for materials.
