So have people noticed that the guy making the documentary that botched Tahani's time in the monastary is the same person as the judge in Jason's first dance competition? It seems like the Bad Place has already been causing the four humans to backslide. Wouldn't be surprised if he was also "helping" Chidi's friend when he busted his legs.

She's probably still just a regular scientist, but we don't know a lot about her own ethics. It's possible that down the road, she might want to do some experiment a la Milgram that isn't ethical, and it gives the group reason for pause.

Enderzero posted:Absolutely. But showing 7 episodes, taking a week off for thanksgiving, then another week off for no reason, then airing one episode, and then waiting until January to air the rest is ridiculous. It's a heavily serialized show. Just move up the premiere date one week instead of a 2 week delay for an episode that a bunch of people are going to miss and be confused about. God help you if you ever start watching Steven Universe

I liked this episode and love this show, but man the scene where Michael says "oh Tahani thank you you're such a genius!" and then immediately opens the book and flips through a perfect argument, was super hamfisted

The problem with Jason is that he's way more just a Joke Machine character than anyone else. All of the other main characters have some amount of nuance and depth, and then Jason bursts into the scene and squeaks "I'm a adult baby!" and then breakdances and everyone claps and it's been three seasons of this already, please let him grow a little
