we are not given an indication that very many people end up in the Good Place

Really, if you look at it, the Original Sin is selfishness. No wonder nobody gets in.

So far we only have the word of demons and a couple neutral entities to go on that the good place even exists. We've yet to see the place, or anyone actually from there, and as far as we know none of these beings has actually been there to see for themselves. The very existence of a Good Place could just be the celestial equivalent of an urban legend.

The existence of the Good Place Janet warehouse argues against this, not that such a minor detail is a definite argument. I tend toward the “The Good Place exists but it sucks” theory.

I still keep coming back to the demons who insisted Chidi was someone they had worked with centuries earlier.

I think that was a “all black people look alike to douchebags” joke

This was another good episode. :allears:

I'm not sure what they're doing for next episode. Does Chidi have anyone he wants to save?

also i really, really enjoyed Tahani's acting this time round

I think Chidi saved himself by making an immediate commitment to help Eleanor. The gang is back together so it’s about time for the show to blow up the whole premise again. Be surprised if we don’t see Shawn or the Judge.

Letterkenny is in rural Canada, and this show constantly surprises me in unexpected ways, so I'm calling that instead of going to see Doug, they're bouncing to Modines and meeting up with Dery because why not at this point

If everyone lived like Wayne the Good Place would be full! (If you don’t watch Letterkenny, start. First season is on Hulu)

I can’t see any outcome other than that the Good Place system is A) Unjust (because it is) and B) changed by the actions of our heroes.

And the change will be retroactive because of Jeremy Bearimy.

I love that they have spent all this time setting up a new premise that will be blown to smithereens by the last commercial break of the season premiere.

So everyone has brought up good points and the only way I can think to understand them is watching the show over again from the beginning so I’m gonna do that.

Thanks.
