I think I found all the derelict ships in the save file and matched them against the systems they're in.  I've got the xyz coords too, but I can't figure out how to interpret them to the maps. I checked a few of these, seems to be accurate and doesn't change between new games.

My guess is those will be part of the expansions. Some of the characters and ship assets are in the archives, they're just not currently being used.

It would be cool if they could do like water filled stations that you have to visit in your suit and with zero G turned on.
