16 bit? Back when we was kids we only got a single bit on Christmas, as a treat
And we had to share it!

Ohhhh that’s an interesting list;
“stuff that came as part of a humble bundle that you repurchased at premium on switch because it’s a convenient portable form factor.”

My WFH PC is plugged into my gaming monitor and keyboard so it feels like I’m working even if I switch to the gaming PC.
Then again, if work goes past 7 PM I don’t want to be looking at a screen at 8

E:
Blaster Master Zero 1 and 2 are like $11 together on Steam and $20 each on Switch. these days, though, quality time is more important than money.

This goes for pretty much every game I have on Steam that’s also on Switch. Luckily I got pretty much all of them for free on Steam so I don’t feel like too much of a sucker rebuying them.

if they re-release TP HD they should make it so you can walk around while aiming like in WW HD. Don't know why this feature got cut, it's not like it would break the game since the Wii version of TP already let you walk around while aiming.

Have you played Summer in Mara?

It's like Wind Waker in spirit. Obviously rough around the edges because its a like 4 person dev team and not Nintendo or whatever

If you think you'd like a Zelda game with no combat and don't mind (literally) farming for resources and fetch quests, it's very nice.

The sailing music is FANTASTIC especially as more songs get added in the mid to late game

I said it a week or so ago, but Zelda will definitely get the All Stars treatment for its 35th. TP and WW remakes are a shoe in for the collection, I’m hoping OOT and MM make the cut too. Skyward Sword is the wildcard, given how successful they were in porting Galaxy, I wouldn’t be shocked to see SS make the cut as well.

They will 100% sell them for €50/60 each.

I was really thinking they were both launch games but I guess only in the US not Japan and Zelda's 35th is next year, so yeah maybe so

If they do OOT and MM, I really hope they use the 3DS remakes rather than the N64 versions. It’s really hard to go back to the N64 ones after playing them and I want to play them on my tv.:(

Probably not. Bowser’s Fury looks like it’ll be more substantial than the normal DX additions at least. I hope they also add another character. Toadette or even Daisy would rule.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing, worse than the lily pad mission in Sunshine. It is, bar none, the absolute worst designed thing in any major Nintendo title.

On another note, my Odyssey playthrough continues! Someone spoke earlier about how Mario 64 endures because of how the movement set allows for a high level of skill.

I think Odyssey might be even more true. I'm still getting a hang of how you can chain hat throws into dives and all sorts of craziness - and I thought for a moment how tough it must be if this is someone's first Mario game.

Then I realized that the game is largely designed for that stuff to be optional, and that most players can just jump around with the occasional long jump and get by just fine.

I know it's been a while since we got any data but like a year after the Switch was released Nintendo released internal metrics that showed something like 85% of all Switch owners used it in handheld mode a portion of the time. The breakdown was something like 30% use it exclusively handheld, 15% use it exclusively docked, and 55% used a mixture of the two. I'm guessing they were looking strongly at this data when they decided it was okay to move forward with the Switch Lite.

This is a good point but have you considered that the portability is ACTUALLY the same as a lovely robot peripheral with 2 games that no one used or owned?

I’ve never played galaxy before, really enjoying it so far. It seems like everyone has a strong opinion on sunshine which I’ve also never played, or even seen before, so looking forward to giving that one a go. Hopefully I’m a lover, not a hater.

I have Mario 64 on my 3DS too, is that version better - or should I play the switch version instead? (when I finally get around to it). I think I saw someone say the DS version had additional content?

The controls in the DS version are a nightmare. It's not too bad if you have a 3DS but OG DS is no bueno, go for Switch

Everyone like their hyperbole, but I agree with this with one personal major caveat; I legit had trouble making it through New Super Mario Bros 2 because it had noticeably uninspired and pretty lame level design. It's the only conventional Mario game I came away from thinking that I didn't really have a whole lot of fun.
