You guys almost sold me on a Master Mode replay until I remembered the one thing I most disliked about BotW was the combat. It's repetitive and boring. And Yes you can totally make it cool and funny with all the crazy weapons and actions, but at the end of the day all you want is the enemy to be dead and the fastest way to get there is to bash them in the head with a hopefully 2-handed weapon.

I'm woefully pragmatic and while it was super neat to discover all the options I had, the only way to kill an enemy was to just kill it and the combat in BotW is really pretty bad. It's only good when you have no weapons and run the risk of getting killed if the enemy merely breathes on you. But, that just asks you to be perfect, which isn't necessarily challenging, but rather, tedious.

So I won't be doing Master Mode but I'll replaying it regardless, just to see everything again.

There's no advantage to playing Master Mode outside of personal enjoyment, and that quickly dissipated for me during the Sword trial and Champions' DLC.

also sure the lite doesn't have a kickstand, but the regular switch's kickstand sucks rear end and mine won't even open at this point without basically popping off of the console.

Nope, there's the normal game slot on the top left. Or that's where the SD is, but I don't know why'd they would swap those.

Now I agree the sn30 pro+ is 6 times better than a single joy con. But it weighs 10.4 oz. and the single joycon weighs 1.7 oz. To be better pound for pound it would have to be 6.12 times better. Close but no cigar.

First off. I'm off the plateau but I haven't done the divine guardians yet. Just exploring (and I haven't played in weeks, admittedly)

When I read

I read that as 3 different things

"Avoided" - Not engaging or getting attention
"Stealthed" - I read this as 'avoiding detection so as to approach and eliminate them', a la stealth kills in most other games, or BotW's sneakstrikes
"Dodging and reflecting their attacks" - Open combat

So, when I saw "stealthed", as something different from 'avoided', I was wondering if there was some sorta sneakstrikey/instant kill way to approach them without first openly fighting them. I've only run into a couple of spider-legged ones in the open world near kakoriko.

Ah sorry, you only mentioned two of the powers, so I though you were still collecting those (and on the plateau). EDIT: Wait no, I confused you with someone else in the quote tree (@Cannon_Fodder).

In either case, you're best off avoiding the hell out of guardians until you get confident in your play.

To add to this: both Octopath and Triangle Strategy include (working title), which is the internal name for devs. The Hyrule Warriors teaser had (name not final), which is more of a "this is what we're thinking of publicly calling it, but still in discussions."

Yeah the BOTW DLC adds some items that are super nice that aren't specifically tied to the Story additions. The bridle makes your horse summonable instead of needing to be near it, and there's a mark/recall item that lets you teleport to the location you mark. Also the Majora's Mask makes most enemies not aggro you unless you start poo poo with them.
