To anyone who has the Satisfye grip; how much better is it for using the d-pad buttons? I really like how they're spaced out and tactile, the only downside to them is how low on the controller they are

It's way better. No more having to shift your whole hand down to use them. If i didn't have an arm stand, I'd use it constantly. As it is, the flip grip is great for this, even when the console isn't in it.

Your Computer posted:

I've never really thought about it but I'd say better; you're kinda holding the switch lower (higher?) due to the position of the grip so it feels pretty natural

Sounds like what I was hoping for, I think I'll treat myself to one.

Before Let's Go I hadn't played a Pokemon game since Red/Blue so forgive me if I missed some QoL upgrades since, but if Sword/Shield go back to the random encounters and remove the shared Exp thing I think it'll be a hard pass for me. I REALLY hope they keep the system at least somewhat similar to Let's Go.

Also they should really let you keep travelling with your Pokemon, riding my Arcanine around the map was cool as hell

Have Pokémon walk around the map like Let's Go but have them react to the player i.e. Mankey and Spearow types chase you around and attack you and initiate a battle while more timid Pokémon might run and hide

Im leaning slim because 5 year old carries the Switch with her everywhere but I read one review about it maybe being too tight when zipped up.

Slim https://www.amazon.com/Satisfye-Acc...ps%2C162&sr=8-5
Standard https://www.amazon.com/Satisfye-Acc...ps%2C162&sr=8-4

When I got my Sega Saturn for Christmas my dad somehow cracked the Panzer Dragoon CD while taking it out of the case that same morning. What little I was able to get out of it was cool as hell and I was pretty sure I'd never get to know what I missed but holy poo poo I get to finally play it in tyool 2019

The fact that I can't just pick out NES/SNES/N64/etc games a la carte will never not be frustrating to me, I know they want people to buy Nintendo Online but the fact that the loving Wii had that poo poo figured out and the Switch is a step backwards is inexcusable and peak Nintendo. Ignoring generations of games for a trickle of obscure NES games is less than appealing.
