I remembered last season ending with a clash against the completely overpowered church woman, but I guess that was just a tease of the character showing up instead? If that had happened, then based on what I recall of the manga we'd be getting right into some big-deal plot stuff right away.

This feels like a pretty slow start and they have him moving all over the place. Could he always teleport? And yea, where did the paladin go?
