I totally forgot Kanaan was called Caleb but it was the same drat voice in a child which was a bit weird, lol. Pretty cool little cameo (? maybe we'll see em again in this show).

I think they actually changed his voice just a tad bit and some kids can have their adult voices early on but it’s all genetics.

Is the next episode dropping on Friday like they normally would? Also, are they all gonna be an hour or do we not know yet what the normal run time will be?

Yes the next episode with be this Friday but I believe they said each episode from here on will be about thirty minutes long before the credits roll.

This. Disney had a great thing on their hands. Christmas time was Star Wars time at the theater. They could have kept that up. Every December could have been time for a new Star Wars movie. But they wanted to test the waters on if they could do 2 Star Wars movies a year, so they went with another less than 6 months after the last one, and it blew up in their faces. Star Wars isn't Marvel.

I really liked that short few years when I knew every December was Star Wars time. Way to gently caress it up, Disney.

Hopefully they start it back up. Star Wars movie every Christmas was pretty great. I did like that they dropped Solo in May since that’s Star Wars month but it did hurt them and I was looking forward to a sequel. So hopefully they’ll start up with a Star Wars movie every Christmas and a couple show premiers throughout the year, including May the 4th. :3:

Seems weird Hunter didn't want to know more about Rex's offer considering the alternative is Cid continuing to rip them off. I'm sure they'll take him up on it eventually though. Makes you wonder how this series will end though, since none of the Bad Batch were active members of the Rebel Alliance 10 years later... and none of them were with Rex either.

I mean after years of fighting with the clones I’m sure most Jedi saw them as their brothers, which is not far fetched, so imagine you’re just walking around town one day and then suddenly your best friend just turns to you with a gun in your face and pulls the trigger. You’re not gonna believe what’s happening and before you realize poo poo got serious you’re shot and dead. It’s just not something the Jedi saw coming and their last thoughts were more than likely, “what did I do to you? I thought we were brothers”. It’s really sad after watching Plo Koon’s episodes in TCW how he cares for his clones so much and then they just shoot him down.

I can’t really explain the Temple situation other than maybe it was just thousands of clones against a few hundred Jedi and of those few hundred Jedi maybe a very small fraction were even adults with training suitable to take on a decent number of enemy combatants before being completely overwhelmed whilst the others were younglings. Like a Chinese army rush.

Plus I imagine any particularly skilled masters fell to Anakin

Tbh its why I hated Yoda going all saber fu in the prequel trilogy. I liked the idea of a philosophical master, who showed no inclination to combat skills, but rather was a master of the Force itself, and its mysteries

I like that, “quantity has its own quality”.

As for Yoda it’s very clear, to me, that he is the philosophical Jedi master you say because all I saw was him literally channeling the force through his body to be all bouncy bouncy hippity hoppy teddy bear. :3: But I understand where you’re coming from.
