As far as the Twins at first I was all, "are these supposed to be Luke and Leia" in an alternate universe? Then I forgot about that and strapped in for the ride in a universe where the only one who needs a helmet in space is a protocol droid for some reason

One of my favorite parts of the old Thrawn trilogy is when something goes wrong but he promotes someone over it anyway because they tried to do something innovative. The Empire could have used more of that style of management but I guess you're hard pressed in an authoritarian nightmare bureaucracy run by evil sorcerers.
