I am so, so sad. I had a skeleton archaeologist and was on Ziggurat 27. I cleared out the entire level except for one Titan and got lightning bolted from about 1/3 HP to dead . My own hubris did me in despite doing so well not having rElec up to that point. Thanks to Araganzar for all the advice. Rift is hilarious on level 4. +8 demon trident with distortion and 3 reach was great, but I kept teleporting bigger threats out of range. Healing harp and wand of clouds did some ridiculous work keeping me alive.

Hey, do you know what the best item in a crate as a skeleton archaeologist is? You finish putting on the cursed +3 crown of Eternal Torment {rTorment HP-- rN+++ SInv *Curse}. Advice on current steps to take? I could just take my runes into Zot, but I'm feeling kinda greedy. I've basically just been one shotting everything with my spriggan's knife through a combination of stealth, wands of paralyze, various spell shenanigans, demon guardians drawing attention, Zonguldrok zombies drawing attention, and straight up just leaving to reset aggro. In the same way that Wu Jian is hilarious with Devastator, it is extra hilarious when I can instakill three guys who don't notice me by lunging at the middle one, automatically attacking the ones on the way. I also have the arc blade, and it's just the same thing with static discharges flying everywhere whenever I decide to stand my ground and fight, or rather, running circles around my enemies and walljumping everywhere. https://crawl.kelbi.org/crawl/morgue/tastylemons/tastylemons.txt PMush Perfect posted:What a loving pull on a stealth character. Does anyone know if the zealot's sword berserks regular summons? The bot says 'Going berserk (by any means) while wielding this sword will cause all natural-holiness allies in LOS to go berserk as well.' What exactly is an all natural-holiness ally?

I played a barachi archaeologist of Ru not too long ago. Having +LOS wasn't really a downside then either since you can just blow everyone up. I splatted stupidly because I drank a berserk potion and couldn't escape during the royal jelly fight when I needed to.

Ziggs are really easy until they suddenly aren't. This can happen at any time in the 27 floors, and sometimes never actually difficult. It's not a steady progression of difficulty either. You might go back to killing yaks or whatever after a level with 5 pan lords. They're wide open spaces and minimal places to hide (some layouts will have pillars and other features). I've killed more characters in Ziggurats than any other extended content.
