Ha, got a team down to two people with the hatch in obvious sight. Downed the first one. Chased down the second one with the intent to slug them, since I knew the other one would just be laying on the hatch waiting for them to die. Down them. Second one disconnects, first one immediately goes through the hatch. That's some above and beyond coordination to being a poo poo

Give the survivors no courtesy, they will show you none.

If you know where the hatch is, you can usually hook the second to past person and take advantage of the long sacrifice animation to haul rear end to it and kick it closed right when it opens. Then you can just patrol the exit gate and when you see a red light, you know where they are

That's some above and beyond coordination to being a poo poo As a personal opinion I think slugging for the 4k is boring and unfun unless you're really, really struggling with a challenge that requires the 4k. If 2 people are left even if you and the last survivor both know where the hatch is, just throw the survivor you just down on hook before chasing after the last one. It's just more fun for everyone involved imo. That said I'll throw my advice in with what the others have said in that if you're close to the hatch just throw the third survivor on and head over to the hatch the last survivor is probably camping, the sac animation is super long and gives you enough time generally to get back to hatch. Killer has priority on hatch interaction if you can get to the right side on time!

Problem being if they decide to just stand on the hatch, they can seriously fall through it when it opens and be through before they can be grabbed. I've had people just stand there and take two hits while not budging from the hatch, fall down and win

The hatch isnt a physics object, survivors have to press a button to go through. Similarly, the killer can close the hatch while the survivors are standing on it, it goes right through them

All you can do is make it to the side of the hatch that gives you the "Close Hatch" open and hold down that button, if you aren't on the correct side you can't close it and it's very awkward sometimes. In an entirely equal scenario in which both the killer and survivor are on top of the hatch, the killer gets priority if they both hit the button at the same time. Closing the hatch *should* stop a survivor from completing the jump in and happens faster, but latency/user error causes variance.

On the same topic I want to know why all these assholes turn into Newtypes instantly when I try to hit them with the puke. Maybe I just had a bad draw but I had one team where I managed to get a whole one (1) hit on the entire team despite, as far as I could tell, doing everything as I was supposed to do. Maybe this is the salt in the survivor pudding.

It's important to realize that even if it doesn't look like it, you're shooting balls of puke, the puke that connects them don't count as hitting, so sprinklering too hard can actually be a detriment. Leading shots with puke also takes a bit of getting used to.

Amused myself playing Scratched Mirror Myers with Play With Your Food/Discordance/Ruin/NOED on Gideon's. X-Ray vision jumpscares Somehow killed three people doing that. I would have actually had the Discordance tome challenge too, but the game decided three separate gen grabs weren't going to work It's a hilarious way to play, but I feel like it would only work on maps where you can hop around corners and ambush to make up for your pathetic lunge. I wish to stress very hard when it comes to discords and offsites that us getting involved is very tough as we mod these forums and not places elsewhere. The site has had an unofficial rule of no importing drama from offsites for as long as I can remember precisely because it is difficult for us to fact check things that happen elsewhere. The bobbie wickham thing was very different to this thread - at least in our method an approach. She did not listen to anything and probated people talking about it. We in Games are not going to do that. If you have these kinds of issues with a discord linked to a thread or information about specific posters then we all (Myself, Oddium, RelaxorDie and Pragmatica) then share with us as we can then discuss it over and use it for knowledge without disrupting threads. I want to assure you that we DO take this stuff seriously (see the brigador thread a few weeks ago for a similar blowup) and we would never outright silence stuff. This kind of thing is really difficult to determine and sanction whenever it happens outside of the forums, but it does not mean we will not listen and respond to you so always PM or email us. In regards to this, we will be looking into it as of now. Thank you for the PMs and if anyone has anything more to add then please continue to send and bear with us dealing with this.
