BEGINNING: I'm 3 minutes in the and I already feel kinda disgusted by Archie. Wearing a tuxedo with a bow-tie to a court hearing just feels so douchey. It basically signals that you just want to get this over with because he wants to go to prom later tonight.

Criticizing the costume choices on this show is weird. It's like being upset at Game of Thrones for the gratuitous violence and nudity. Also, if you're getting upset about the choice on an in universe level it's his mother's fault for letting him show up like that.

I don't understand why Archie got a fake serpent tattoo? surely a real one would help in prison. Also why did Jughead's also look painted on when I think he has one? Also I should say I think the tattoo make up on this show looks good. I'm used to soaps putting the blackest black on people without it fading or blending onto the skin. It's a minor peeve of mine.

also also was..hotdog a different breed before?

Jughead's looks painted on because it is, the actor didn't want to get an actual tattoo from a fake gang and I guess the makeup artist isn't that great.

Though if I was the actor playing Jughead I'd probably get the tattoo for real if they pick up a fourth season, not for the character, but for myself.

There's an idea that one of the reasons monks in the middle-ages would have so many weird rear end visions is that a naturally occuring mold in old books had psychoactive chemicals. And back before the printing press old books were valuable as gently caress and these were the were the only people who would handle them on the regular.

There's a drug in the ink of the Griffins and Gargoyles book (some version of whatever the made up drug they've used as a plot point a dozen times before, I can't remember the name).

Yeah, they were all playing characters very different from what their parents became, which works okay as character development for the parental characters, but is a piss poor idea for a gimmick episode with all your young main cast members playing their parents.

That makes me think someone in that foursome is a lovely tipper, my guess would be Betty. There's no way Archie is a lovely tipper given his worship of his father, Veronica worked as a waitress, as did her mother, no one in the industry is a lovely tipper, Jughead would clearly skip a meal before eating out when he couldn't tip (I know, in the comics Jughead would never skip a meal, but comics Jughead is also asexual), only leaves Betty, who, as much as I love her, definitely keeps track of how many times she got a refill on her water and adjusts her tip accordingly.
