So with the CW giving the boot to LOT (which I'm supremely bummed about as it was the one show that I really enjoyed), and Batwoman (the last season was a bit of a slog). What is next for the Superhero shows of the CW? I tried watching Supes and Lois this weekend but it got way to whiny for me. I know there is one more season of Stargirl in the can at least, but it looks like as the CW is being put up for sale the owners are looking to trim the fat.

Superman & Lois, The Flash and Stargirl all have another season coming. There's also Gotham Knights which is not an Arrowverse show and just finished filming the pilot.

Yes that is true, Flash is having a protracted 9th season to tie up the loose ends. Stargirl is a bit of head scratcher for me it would have a string of good episodes then have 1 episode that was bad. Supes and Lois suffers from the same problem, the writing is inconsistent. Gotham Knights has potential, and I know the Colin Farrell is getting his own spinoff Penguin show.

I too gave up on soupman and louse early on, but someone recommended it to me as "it gets better". It does a bit, probably better than late Batgirl, but obviously not nearly as good as Legends of Tomorrow or Peacemaker.

Stargirl is Geoff John's baby so he'll definitely fight as hard as possible to keep it around. And for what it's worth, of the original DC Universe shows, all of them, except for Swamp Thing, turned out excellent.

To add to those, HBOMax is producing a Dead Boy Detectives series and Netflix is producing a Sandman series. While the DCCW is dying, there's a bunch of other series out there to sate some appetites,

Yes it's getting a 4th season.

For Young Justice that was a pretty good tying together the "leads" from the previous arcs. Kind of weird they didn't tell Miss Martian though.

Also a pretty horrific reveal about what the Kaiser Thrall is.

I assume they were worried about getting her hopes up. I assume they will inform her next episode.

We knew that already there was a funny little scene were Zatanna, then Rocket, then Barbara, all gave him a kiss on the cheek upon greeting him, and Artemis expressed disbelief that he remained on good terms with all of his exes. Upon which he stated "that's his super power."

Young Justice People waiting for Dick's arc to star him are probably disappointed but I was happy to catch up with Brion and Violet. That Markovia cartoon was Batman Brave and Bold style right? It looked familiar.

It didn't seem BatB style. The plot is definitely like something from X-Men though

Gotham Knights trailer came out and A) I did not know the premise of the show is "all of batman's rogue's gallery all had kids and now they need to team up with batman's adopted son (a new character named Turner) to solve batman's murder after they get framed for it", B) it is CW as gently caress, and C) it looks bad

Thats what Batwoman should have been, kids or at least younger people picking up the mantles of the older villains.

They've set up a shitton of things for finale and I hope it can get properly pulled off.

I expected fallen Mary Marvel, but not evil Supergirl. Also, lmao Sanctuary. A great idea in concept in the comics. Shame that DC Editorial and Tom King basically ruined the idea.

I think it's loving sick how they looped around and showed a clear view of Phantom Girl saving Connor back on Mars. And how that Pompeii ash shadow could've possibly gotten on the wall if they both teleported into a interdimensional prison.

It doesn’t even look like an Arrowverse/Riverdale-era CW show so much as it looks like a pitch from 2002 that was passed over in favor of Birds of Prey and was inexplicably dusted off 20 years later

Toshimo posted:

Probably not, it’s an unauthorized leak of a pilot screener from over a decade ago that was never meant to be seen outside NBC

Penguin was a prick anyways. He has someone better.

Also, I'm guessing Golden Glider isn't related to Snart? I thought she was Isis when I first saw her
