There's also Sargon the Sorcerer who died in the same event as Zatara. It was the culmination of the Swamp Thing "American Gothic" story line where John Constantine joins Sargon and Zatara and with the help of Swamp Thing defeats the Great Darkness, a force left over from before the creation of the universe. The aftermath of this event is why in Sandman when Dream enters Hell it is ruled by the Triumvirate.
